A Dream Day For Everyone

18.09.11 |
The weather may have not been as sunny as this year's Block Party, but that didn't stop hundreds of families and excited children from attending Dream Development's Fifth Annual Dream Day celebrations held on September 8th.

Dream Day featured an excellent line-up of activities for both young and old including two giant bouncy castles, body glitter art and some creative balloon animal art. Guests had the chance to test their luck with a "wheel of fortune" - whatever the wheel landed on, you won it! Prizes included footballs, soccer balls, frisbees and various toys to name a few. Of course, everyone was a winner ;).

As guests made their way towards the main show home site in Stage 6, the smell of delicious ball frank hot dogs and various East Asian cuisines were rerouting them to the food tent and tantalizing their olfactory systems. The best part was that everything served was FREE! Missed out this year? Don't worry. You can catch Dream Day again next year!

The main stars of Saturday's event were no doubt the 15 remarkable show homes. These great selection of homes were busy all day with dozens of potential new homeowners. You can visit the Maple Crest show homes every Monday to Thursday from 3 pm to 8 pm and weekends from noon to 5 pm.

Visitors who toured the show homes also got the chance to win one of four West Edmonton Mall Family Attractions passes worth $250 each or a Cineplex Movie Prize package made of 4 movie tickets and refreshments valued at $100 each! If you haven't entered the contests, you still have a chance to get out to one of Maple Crest's show homes and enter today! The contests' run until September 16th so hurry and enter while you can

The body glitter artist was kept busy all day with dozens of enthusiastic children while the Disney "Planes” bouncy castle and giant inflated slide also proved to be crowd favorites.

Edmonton’s most accomplished balloon artist, Pretzel, was on hand to bring every child and adult’s imagination to life in the form of imaginative balloon animals.

Touring all the show homes and getting from the park to the central event site was simplified using golf cart shuttles, with many visitors also enjoying touring around the community at a faster pace. Thank you to our amazing drivers who braved the rain and helped ensure that Dream Day would be enjoyable for everyone.

Maple Crest's wonderful 3D DREAM letters were a popular go-to location for family pictures and a great way to end to a spectacular event for those hoping to keep Dream Day as a precious memory.

We would like to thank all the visitors, current and future Maple Crest residents and our builders for making Dream Day 2018 a truly amazing and fun experience.
