Why Duplexes?

If you’re looking for an affordable entry point, buying one side of a duplex is a great option. A duplex is more affordable compared to a single-family home with a similar number of beds and baths, square feet and specifications, thanks to the shared lot.

Flexible Living:

A duplex plan is a great option for unique extended family living situations. Maybe you have a situation where a family member requires close supervision but you both want privacy and space. A duplex is perfect because it allows you to live on one side and the family member to live on the other without infringing on privacy or space.

More Space:

Another advantage is the yard. If you enjoy outdoor living, a duplex provides many benefits of a single-family home. A front yard, side yard and backyard offer more privacy, gardening and recreational opportunities than an apartment condo or even a townhome. Even if the yard is shared...landscaping and fencing can work wonders. Having neighbours also provide a valuable social connection, security and assistance when needed.
